Brigitte Bardot is one of those icons whose image sticks throughout the decades. Despite the controversy surrounding her she can be relied on for an inspiring photograph.
I bought the June issue of Vogue Australia in which Abbey Lee Kershaw modelled in a shoot directly inspired by And God Created Woman. My favourites were the hazy black and white takes of the mambo scene, exuding sensuality and life.
I love this montage of the film, which is contrasted with 'Nervous Remix' by The Cranberries.
Could the fight scene with Brigitte vs Claudia Cardinale in Les Petroleuses -another of Brigitte's films have been the inspiration for this Daria/Vogue Paris May 09 shoot?
